FAQ: Covid Certificate
For accounting reasons, we will continue to send you your current monthly bill. As the billing process continues in an orderly fashion, we ask that you continue to pay your monthly bills as you are required to do during vacations, illness/accidents and professional absences. According to the timestop, you will receive a time credit up to a maximum of 24.1.2022. This will be added to your current subscription period. This happens automatically and you do not have to do anything else.
No. We consistently adhere to the regulations passed by the Federal Council. Accordingly, we can only grant access to members who have a valid Covid certificate.
No, that is not necessary. You can register your Covid certificate with us once. Once registered, no further verification is necessary until the certificate expires. However, due to the existing protection concept, you must also be able to show your Covid certificate in the event of a possible inspection by the authorities for any future training.
In the member’s area you can easily upload your certificate via contact form as PDF, screenshot or image file. Please make sure that both the QR code and the validity are visible on the document. Alternatively, you can present your certificate in printed or digital form at the reception desk in the gym.
According to the decision of the Federal Council of 17 September 2021, all members who have a foreign vaccination or convalescence certificate will also be admitted to the gym with immediate effect. This is valid for the time being until October 24, 2021, and this measure applies to the following total of four vaccines authorized by the EMA: Biontech / Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson. Important is the proof of the complete vaccination. We will provide information on the next steps from 25 October 2021 in due course.
In contrast to the past two lockdowns, our gyms remain open as normal and the entire range of services is available to members. The only change is the access restriction with certificate. We have to enforce this on our members due to the Corona regulation. It is the personal decision of each member to temporarily refrain from visiting an ACTIV FITNESS gym due to the certificate requirement. Our General Terms and Conditions provide for a timestop for this purpose, such as can be taken advantage of in the case of longer holiday absences. We charge a fee for the additional expenses incurred. This procedure corresponds to the standard in the industry.
Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions here. In this case too, a Timestop costs CHF 50.
