Repeal Corona measures
All measures are considered repealed as of February 17, 2022. This means that from this date you can train again without a mask and without showing a certificate.
It is very important to us that every member feels comfortable during their stay with us. Of course, you may continue to train with a mask on a voluntary basis. We all also respect if someone prefers to continue training with a mask.
Yes. We ask that you continue to disinfect each device after use. We will continue to provide cleaning wipes and sanitizer so you can clean the equipment and sanitize your hands.
Please stay home if you have symptoms of a cold or illness, as we have learned over the past two pandemic years. Remember, as a member, you benefit from free access to our online fitness platform, activfitness@home (available in German, French or Italian), where you will find over 1000 classes from more than 20 different sports. So you can train at home until you are completely healthy again and therefore ready for your visit in our gym!
If you have submitted a paid timestop due to Corona, it will automatically end on Thursday, February 17, 2022 when the certificate requirement is lifted. Next time you visit the studio, report to the reception desk so that we can welcome you back and grant you access to the studio. From mid-March you can check in the members area on our website or ask in the gym how long your new subscription is valid. Until then, we thank you for your patience.
No. With the removal of the certificate requirement, the ability to purchase a paid timestop due to Corona regulations also ends. As an alternative to training in the gym, we recommend our online fitness platform activfitness@home (available in German, French or Italian) , where you can find over 1000 courses from more than 20 different sports. This way you can train at home for a while and still be connected to us.
No. As we reopen the wellness zones at all ACTIV FITNESS locations beginning Thursday, February 17, 2022, we will return to our regular access privileges. This means that ACTIV FITNESS members will no longer have access to the Fitnesspark as of tomorrow. If you are interested in a subscription upgrade to Swiss Fit, please contact the reception during your next visit to the studio.
Yes, ACTIV FITNESS and the Fitnessparks are providing a lockdown guarantee also for 2023 after 2020, 2021 and 2022. In the event of an officially ordered full closure due to Corona, a time credit will be given for the effective closure time in the home gym.

New price structure
The aim of bringing together the various fitness formats is to make it easier for interested parties and members to find their way around the market. As a result, price harmonisation takes place so that a clear subscription structure is applied within a brand. As a thank you for their loyalty, all members will receive CHF 50 credit loaded onto their chip wristband when they next renew their subscription (applies to 1- and 2-year subscriptions paid in advance in categories 2 and 3).
Setting up a subscription
Yes, school pupils, students and apprentices undergoing education or training at a recognised Swiss educational establishment can take out a student subscription. The student subscription is available for members up to the age of 29 who spend at least 50 per cent of their time studying and whose student ID is valid at the start of the subscription (identification must be provided).
Yes, provided you have reached official pension age (65 for men, 64 for women) by the start of the subscription. Identification must also be provided. The prices for the pensioner’s subscription can be found here.
If you pay your subscription monthly, your contract will automatically renew each month unless it is cancelled by you. As a prepayer, you will receive a reminder letter and a payment slip from us approximately two months before the expiry of your subscription. This will enable you to renew your subscription conveniently from your home. Alternatively, you can also renew your subscription on your next visit to the studio, and also benefit from advice from our professional trainers.
Prepayment: If you seamlessly renew a prepayment subscription in category 2 or 3, you benefit from a loyalty bonus of CHF 50 on your chip bracelet, and CHF 100 for the Swiss Fit category.
If you pay for your subscription monthly, your contract will renew automatically unless it is cancelled by you. As a prepayer, your subscription will not renew automatically.
Subscriptions with monthly payments
Monthly payments are always due in advance, based on the start of the subscription. If your subscription starts on 10 June, for example, then your next payment will be due by the 10th of the following month at the latest.
The easiest way is to set up a direct debit or standing order via e-banking. Your monthly payment will then be made automatically on the same day of each month. It is important to refer to the due date for the payment when selecting the execution date.
Yes, the payment will need to be made every month. If you’d like a time stop for your holidays, you can submit your holiday documents to us before your departure and buy a time stop for CHF 50. You will then be able to take a break of between one and four months in your training, once per subscription period. If you are ill or injured, you can request a retroactive time stop free of charge by providing us with a doctor’s certificate confirming that you were 100 per cent unable to practise sport for a specific period. In this case, your subscription will be extended by the period specified by the doctor’s certificate (provided your subscription was valid as usual during this time).

If you are ill or injured, you can request a retroactive time stop free of charge by providing us with a doctor’s certificate confirming that you were 100 per cent unable to practise sport for a specific period. In this case, your subscription will be extended by the period specified by the doctor’s certificate (provided your subscription was valid as usual during this time).

Advice at the studio
You are welcome to come in for a free trial training session with us. We’ll give you a tour of the studio and help you to find the right subscription for you. If you’re interested in a trial training session, then choose your studio here and arrange an appointment by phone or online. Of course, there is also the possibility to make an accompanied tour without trial training session.
Yes, we offer consulting training at all locations. The exact conditions differ depending on the subscription category.
Category 1: As a member you can book a consultation training directly in the studio at the price of CHF 59.
Categories 2 / 3 / Swiss Fit: During your contract year, you will benefit from a total of five free consultation appointments: one introductory appointment and four control training sessions. Take the opportunity to regularly renew your training plan together with our professional fitness trainers – so you not only stay fit, but also regularly set new goals.

Click on Course booking in the navigation at the top of our website and log in with your M login for class reservations. You’ll need to set up an M login if you don’t have one yet. This login is extremely practical as it not only allows you to reserve classes with us, but you can also use it to access our studio Wi-Fi or view your Cumulus points in the Migros app.
If you have any problems with the class reservation, contact the reception staff at your studio so that our trainers can help you.
You can book up to three classes per day.
Depending on the studio, a booking in the class reservation tool is possible 24-72 hours before the class starts.
Contribution from health insurers
Send your health insurer a copy of your subscription contract by post or by email as a PDF, and ask directly if they can contribute to your subscription fee. You can also visit www.qualitop.ch to find out which health insurers contribute.

If your health insurer is not listed, this doesn’t automatically mean it won’t contribute to your subscription. It’s worth asking your health insurer in any case by sending a copy of your subscription contract by post or by email as a PDF.
The Qualitop label is a sign of quality in exercise and health promotion. Qualitop is the standard used to identify a recommended offering. This certification means that many health insurers will be prepared to make a contribution to your fitness subscription. ACTIV FITNESS is Qualitop-certified and enables you to benefit from a financial contribution to your fitness subscription by a wide range of health insurers. Report change of name or address
Name changes must be reported in person at the studio. Please contact our trainers at your studio for this.

You’ll find information about our vacancies on our job page. Here you can also read about apprenticeship opportunities with us. If you’re interested in a taster apprenticeship, call the studio of your choice directly and arrange a taster day.
Individual studio areas may need to close temporarily for renovation work or due to water damage, for example, and are not cause for time reimbursement in accordance with our general terms and conditions. We will inform you of any upcoming renovation work, etc., as early as possible so you can plan your training accordingly and move temporarily to another studio in your region. ACTIV FITNESS and the Fitnessparks are providing a lockdown guarantee also for 2022 after 2020 and 2021. In the event of an officially ordered full closure due to Corona, a time credit will be given for the effective closure time in the home gym.
Our general terms and conditions stipulate that a suspension of operations due to force majeure, which includes COVID-19, does not entitle members to a reimbursement of contributions paid in advance or to an extension of their contract. However, as in the case of the pandemic so far, we are reviewing the current situation and will inform you of the procedure in good time should there be another partial or full closure ordered by the authorities.
Extraordinary subscription cancellation
According to our general terms and conditions, you can cancel your subscription if you move abroad or to an area where there is no ACTIV FITNESS studio within a radius of 30 kilometres. Please submit the related official documents (confirmation of move, proof from the residents’ registration office) together with a short written request directly to your studio.
