ACTIV FITNESS App
Yes! Since mid-October 2023, as a Swiss Fit member, you can book cross-format courses in the ACTIV FITNESS app. This means that if your home studio is ACTIV FITNESS Zurich Oerlikon, you can conveniently book your favorite course in the same app, for example at Fitnesspark Glattpark. With this update, the manual switch to the respective app becomes obsolete and you have the course overview for both formats in the same app.
The app interface appears grayed out when the app detects you as a guest without a current contract. Please check that the Migros login you are using is associated with the correct email address. It is mandatory to use the same email address that you entered when you subscribed. Important: ACTIV FITNESS members can only use the ACTIV FITNESS app, Fitnesspark members can only use the Fitnesspark app. If you have purchased your subscription at an ACTIV FITNESS studio, the Fitnesspark app interface will appear in gray and you will be able to book Fitnesspark classes via website www.fitnesspark.ch. If you have bought your subscription in a fitness park, the interface of the ACTIV FITNESS app will appear in gray and you can book ACTIV FITNESS courses via website www.activfitness.ch.
Go to the “Training” tab and click on “Training plans” (Figure 1). If your EGYM account is not yet connected, a pop-up will appear (Figure 2). Accept the terms of use and privacy policy. After that click on the “Send e-mail” button. Go to your email account and click on the red button in the email (image 3) and follow the instructions. Now your account should be correctly linked to EGYM.
Setting up a subscription
Clicking on buy a subscription will take you to an overview of all subscription categories for one- and two-year subscriptions. Our PDF overview also helps you to get an overview of our subscription structure.
Our diverse gym network consists of 4 subscription categories: Category 1-3 and Swiss Fit. These categories are based on the range of services offered by the respective gym. All ACTIV FITNESS gym offer modern equipment and infrastructure. In this way, Category 1 gyms distinguish themselves with a streamlined range of services and an attractive price-performance ratio. With the exception of ACTIV FITNESS Solothurn West, these gym do not have a wellness area or a children’s area.
Over 90 of our gym are in the category 2 network, which is suitable for those who want to train at different locations. The majority of our Category 2 gym have a children’s area, functional wellness facilities, and extensive strength, endurance, functional training, and group fitness classes. With a category 3 subscription, you benefit from a full range of services and train in all ACTIV FITNESS gym throughout Switzerland. The more than 20 Category 3 locations feature a variety of wellness offerings and larger fitness spaces. If that’s not enough for you, our Swiss Fit subscription also opens up the world of Fitnesspark to you. With Fitnesspark you experience a premium fitness offer with extensive sauna and bathing facilities at 16 locations.

You can purchase your subscription directly at buy a subscription. You can of course also pass by the studio of your choice, ask for advice, make a cash-free payment and start training straight away.
The minimum age for training with us is 15 years. Please bring the printed declaration of consent from your legal guardian with you when you take out your subscription.
Discounts
Yes, students and apprentices undergoing education or training at a recognised Swiss educational establishment can take out a student subscription. The student subscription is available for members up to their 29th birthday who spend at least 50 per cent of their time studying and whose student ID is valid at the start of the subscription (identification must be provided).
Yes, provided you have reached official pension age (65 years for men, 64 years for women) by the start of the subscription. Identification must also be provided. The prices for the pensioner’s subscription can be found here.
Yes, provided you can present valid disability identification at the beginning of the subscription. The prices for the disability subscription can be found here.
Subscription renewal
If you pay your subscription monthly, your contract will automatically renew each month unless it is cancelled by you. As a prepayer, you will receive a reminder letter and a payment slip from us approximately two months before the expiry of your subscription. This will enable you to renew your subscription conveniently from your home. Alternatively, you can also renew your subscription on your next visit to the studio, and also benefit from advice from our professional trainers.
Prepayment: If you seamlessly renew a prepayment subscription in category 2 or 3, you benefit from a loyalty bonus of CHF 50 on your chip bracelet, and CHF 100 for the Swiss Fit category.
If you pay for your subscription monthly, your contract will renew automatically unless it is cancelled by you. As a prepayer, your subscription will not renew automatically.
Subscriptions with monthly payments
Monthly payments are always due in advance, based on the start of the subscription. If your subscription starts on 10 June, for example, then your next payment will be due by the 10th of the following month at the latest.
The easiest way is to set up an order via e-banking. Your monthly payment will then be made automatically on the same day of each month. It is important to refer to the due date for the payment when selecting the execution date.
Yes, the payment will need to be made every month. If you’d like a time stop for your holidays, you can submit your holiday documents to us before your departure and buy a time stop for CHF 50. You will then be able to take a break of between one and four months in your training, once per subscription period.
If you are ill or injured, you can request a retroactive time stop free of charge by providing us with a doctor’s certificate confirming that you were 100 per cent unable to practise sport for a specific period. In this case, your subscription will be extended by the period specified by the doctor’s certificate (provided your subscription was valid as usual during this time).
Training in the gym & House rules
We thank you for abiding by the rules of our house. This includes, for example, using a training towel as a base, not talking loudly on the phone or wearing clean indoor sports shoes. You can find the exact overview of the house rules here.
Please stay home if you have symptoms of a cold or illness. Remember, as a member, you benefit from free access to our online fitness platform, activfitness@home, where you will find over 1000 classes from more than 20 different sports. So you can train at home until you are completely healthy again and therefore ready for your visit to our studio!
Gym information & Member benefits
You will benefit from several advantages if you provide your email address:
Class booking via app: With the ACTIV FITNESS app, you can conveniently book your classes on your smartphone. It is important that your email address matches the Migros login. Instructions on how to book classes can be found here.
WLAN in all studios: With your e-mail address you can surf for free in all ACTIV FITNESS studios and Migros branches. Connecting to the WLAN works via the same Migros login.
Access to the Members’ area: With your Migros login you have access to the Members’ area. There you can manage your contact details, order vouchers for your loved ones or print out your contract for your health insurance.
EGYM Training: The state-of-the-art EGYM machines are designed to optimize your training experience and track your progress. When you create an EGYM account with your email address, your trainers will provide you with personalized training plans and you will benefit from additional health information so that you can continuously expand your training.
Member news: We inform you about news concerning your ACTIV FITNESS studio such as renovations, closures or special member benefits. This way you won’t miss any important information and you’ll always be up to date.
Sending invoices: We will send you your invoices conveniently by e-mail. This way you have a better overview of your finances and it saves paper.

In our “Member News” we send out relevant information on construction work, space adjustments, short-term closures in the home studio as well as events and offers exclusively for members. This type of information letter is not a classic newsletter, but rather centralized information about your membership, especially in your home studio where you have registered. We know from experience that members, even if they do not wish to receive e-mails, like to be informed when a studio closes at short notice, for example, or when they can benefit exclusively from advantages. For this reason, this letter does not contain an unsubscribe link.
You can sign up for our newsletters at any time, whether you are a member or not. We regularly send out exciting news and entertaining content about ACTIV FITNESS.
Time stops for illness and holidays
If you are ill or injured, you can request a retroactive rest period free of charge. We consider applications that are submitted in the 1st month after the medically certified inability to train has ceased. In this case, your subscription will be extended for the duration of the medical certificate (provided your subscription is still valid during this time). Applications submitted at a later date can no longer be considered.

Advice at the studio
You are welcome to come in for a free and accompanied trial training session with us. We’ll give you a tour of the gym and help you to find the right subscription for you. If you’re interested in an accompaniedtrial training session, then choose your gym here and arrange an appointment by phone or online. Of course, there is also the possibility to make an accompanied tour without trial training session.
Yes, we offer consulting training at all locations. The exact conditions differ depending on the subscription category.
Category 1: As a member you can book a consultation training directly in the studio at the price of CHF 59.
Categories 2 / 3 / Swiss Fit: During your contract year, you will benefit from a total of five free consultation appointments: one introductory appointment and four control training sessions. Take the opportunity to regularly renew your training plan together with our professional fitness trainers, so you not only stay fit, but also regularly set new goals.
Get advice from our fitness trainers on site in the studio, because in the conversation we find out together what your goals are and how we can help you achieve them.
Reserving classes
Click on Course booking in the navigation at the top of our website and log in with your M login for class reservations. You’ll need to set up an M login if you don’t have one yet. This login is extremely practical as it not only allows you to reserve classes with us as well as the ACTIV FITNESS App, but you can also use it to access our studio Wi-Fi or view your Cumulus points in the Migros app.
If you have any problems with the class reservation, contact the reception at your studio so that our trainers can help you.
You can book up to three classes per day.
Depending on the studio, a booking in the class reservation tool is possible 24 hours before the class starts. Please note that for our studios in Ticino the booking is possible 72 hours in advance.

Contribution from health insurers
Send your health insurer a copy of your subscription contract by post or by email as a PDF, and ask directly if they can contribute to your subscription fee. You can easily download a copy of your subscription contract in our member area. You can also visit www.qualitop.ch to find out which health insurers contribute. Depending on your supplementary insurance, our partner SWICA will contribute up to CHF 1,300 towards your fitness subscription.

If your health insurer is not listed, this doesn’t automatically mean it won’t contribute to your subscription. It’s worth asking your health insurer in any case by sending a copy of your subscription contract by post or by email as a PDF. You can easily download a copy of your subscription contract in our member area. Depending on your supplementary insurance, our partner SWICA will contribute up to CHF 1,300 towards your fitness subscription.
The Qualitop label is a sign of quality in exercise and health promotion. Qualitop is the standard used to identify a recommended offering. This certification means that many health insurers will be prepared to make a contribution to your fitness subscription. ACTIV FITNESS is Qualitop-certified and enables you to benefit from a financial contribution to your fitness subscription by a wide range of health insurers. Report change of name or address
You can change your address conveniently from your home in the member area. Just log in and edit your personal details.
Name changes must be reported in person at the studio. Please contact our trainers at your studio for this.
Jobs at ACTIV FITNESS

Here you can also read about apprenticeship opportunities with us. If you’re interested in a taster apprenticeship, call the studio of your choice directly and arrange a taster day.
Studio closures
Individual studio areas may need to close temporarily for renovation work or due to water damage, for example, and are not cause for time reimbursement in accordance with our general terms and conditions. We will inform you of any upcoming renovation work, etc., as early as possible so you can plan your training accordingly and move temporarily to another studio in your region.
Extraordinary subscription cancellation
According to our general terms and conditions, you can cancel your subscription if you move abroad or to an area where there is no ACTIV FITNESS studio within a radius of 30 kilometres. Please submit the related official documents (confirmation of move, proof from the residents’ registration office) together with a short written request directly to your studio.
According to our general terms and conditions, you can cancel your subscription in the event of a medically certified permanent incapacity to practise sport. Please submit the official documents (doctor’s certificate) together with a short written request directly to your studio.
Ordinary termination
If you’d like to know how long your subscription is still valid, then log in to the member area or ask at the reception on your next studio visit.
All members will receive a reminder in good time before the expiry of their subscription.

This will enable you to renew your subscription conveniently from your home. If you pay your subscription monthly, you’ll have to cancel no later than two months before expiry of your subscription in writing by email to debi@activfitness.ch (stating your contract number). As a prepayer you don’t have to do anything – your subscription will expire and will not be renewed automatically.
